Going Home Today!

YAHOO!!
For the last 12 days, I have been in a training class at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswich, Georgia. The training class was fine, but the time down here passed so slowly.

When I checked in for the training class on February 1, I found out our class was going to be housed on campus, in the lovely dorms. AHH! Since I was down here before, June - November 2004, I realized that the dorms were the worst place to be, especially while pregnant. Last time I shared a bathroom, but had a private room. So if I had to share a bathroom this time, that would not be very pleasant, especially if the morning sickness decided to show it's face.

Luckily, we were housed in dorms that had seperate bathrooms. So no problem there. I made due. I rented a tv. I wasn't planning on it, but there was just so much down time, with me running negative scenarios of what could happen to the babies through my head, I decided a tv would help distract slightly from those negative thoughts. Well, it semi-worked.

Here's my room:

On to the babies. I am assuming all is fine in baby land. I am not having any pregnancy "symptoms". I really wish some "symptom" was present with some kind of regularity, but no such luck. So again, I am stuck with just having faith that things are continuting along as they should. The only slight reminder of the pregnancy, are the 2-3 bathroom trips I attend to in the middle of the night. That is a reminder for sure!

Other than that, I am on my way home. I have missed Jim terribly, and I will admit I have missed Amigo and Leo too - even their crazy "beg for food" hours, and Amigo's jumping at the door at 5am. I missed being in my own bed, and eating food that actually tastes good (well, depending on my cooking that day) and is somewhat healthy. The food here was interesting to say the least.

Next appointment is this Monday, February 15... so I will have a baby update then!

  1. Never fear on the "symptoms." I never had any. No morning sickness, no sleepiness, no anything! I know how that can be scarey. You think: am I really pregnant or did I imagine the whole thing?! Anyway, you, me and everyone you know is positive that there are two little miracles in there and they are just fine!

  2. Shannon is right - if you have no symptons consider yourself LUCKY! Better than sick sick sick. And don't worry something will show up -- maybe back aches when you get big or uncomfortable sitting or sleeping etc..

  3. Thanks ladies! You are right, I need to be thankful now that things are comfortable and normal - I am in sure in just a few short weeks, I won't be so comfortable anymore!
